The Queens County Community Calendar & QCCR
QCCC & QCCR FM are linking up. As you may have seen already, a really bad picture of me was the highlight of the main page of The Pulse of Queens County. That is because The Pulse knows that QCCC is the place to find out what is happening in Queens County. For a few weeks now QCCR announcers have been using the QCCC to find out what is happening in Queens and pass on these announcements on the various radio programs. They recognized that, it was more time efficient for them to go to one place where they could find every advertised event that was going on in Queens County, rather than troll the newspapers to pick up on events or by memory of word of mouth. Now they can get all the events and details right in front of them on the calendar which they keep open on their computer.
Starting next week, you will be able to hear me as well on QCCR. Alex and I will be talking about what is happening in Queens Couny in the coming week. I will highlight various events and mention as many as I can during the interview. Clips from this interview will be played throughout the week at various times on QCCR.
In the very near future, a permanent link for QCCC will appear on The Pulse of Queens County website. You can still send in your event details to The Pulse and QCCR and they will be posted on the events page of the Pulse, they will also appear on the QCCC so that you get the best exposure for your event.
If you have an event that you want posted on the QCCC, you can also email directly to the calendar at queenscommunitycalendar@gmail.com.
THAT WAS EASY!!!!!!
