NBSPCA took in 140 dogs over the weekend on the heels from another large intake earlier in the week. They are now over capacity and need help in anyway from all branches and the public sector.
The dog breeds available are: Maltese, Sheltie, Pomeranians, Boston Terriers and Daschunds.
These dogs were in a puppy mill and have spent their lives, so far, in cages. They will need some socializing and will probably have to be house-trained.
We would like to get an adoption fee of $100 if possible. The dogs will have been de-wormed, vaccinated, etc. and we would ask the adoptees to assume the cost of spaying or neutering. If people are interested in adopting, we will pass their names and desired breed along. Please note that there is no guarantee that you will receive a dog as requested.
