14th Annual Queens 50+ Information Fair May 9th at Best Western Plus Liverpool
14th Annual Queens 50+ Information Fair
In cooperation with the VON Queens County, Queens RCMP and the RCMP Seniors’ Safety Program, the Best Western Plus Liverpool Hotel and Conference Centre and the Queens Community Health Board, we would like to invite you to participate as an exhibitor at the fourteenth annual Queens 50+ Information Fair (former Seniors Information Day) on Monday, May 9th, 2016, 1:00-3:00pm at the Best Western Plus Liverpool Hotel and Conference Centre. The purpose of this Information Fair is for community members to enjoy an afternoon socializing together and to have an opportunity to learn about the great programs, services and opportunities available for them in our community and province.
This event has been very well attended with upwards of 200 people participating each year. The following information may be helpful in your preparations, should you wish to participate in the event. Please respond prior to April 11th by registering with the Kim Masland at 350-6209 or email kim.masland@rcmp-grc.gc.ca. The first 30 organizations to respond will have a booth. Spaces fill up quickly so please RSVP early.
Location:Best Western Plus Liverpool Hotel and Conference Centre, Liverpool
Set-Up Time:Doors will open at 11:30am for you to set up your display table. Exhibitors are requested to have their booth set up by 12:45pm as the public arrives at 1pm.
What to include in your display?Information about your organization, brochures, videos, pictures (anything that is applicable to your group, organization, or business).
Assigning of Space:Each organization will be assigned a 6’ x 2’ table and one chair. Additional tables and chairs are available upon request. If electronic equipment is needed for your display, it is your responsibility to bring the equipment and notify us that you require electrical access.
Give-Aways:
If you have any little items to give away, you are welcome to bring them. Also, if you have an item that you would like to do a draw on, please feel free to bring that item and ballots for the public to fill out; we will be doing door prize draws periodically throughout the event, as well at the end. Please note that this is not an opportunity to sell merchandise or tickets on items for your organization.
Refreshment: Coffee, tea and juice will be provided.
